On February 6, 1943, in execution of the Resolution of the State Defense Committee of USSR, was created Far-Eastern Bottom-deepening Technical Fleet, hereinafter "Daltechflot", with the place of location at Nakhodka bay.
Small Tsi-Tse-Vai bay became a native basis of the newly established enterprise, which, by forces of "Daltechflot", was turned into a scoop and up to the present time is the enterprise's territory.
Geographical position of the Far-Eastern region and developing international relationships demanded creation of bottom-deepening fleet for provision of maritime vessels' free passage through estuary of Amour river to Okhotsk and Japanese seas, and also creation of necessary depths at ports for construction of pierces, provision supply and vessels safety.
During the Great Patriotic war the technical fleet was put a task - to create safe navigation for vessels of all classes at approaches and areas of sea of Southern and Northern Sakhalin, port Arthur and port Dalniy.
With participation of "Daltechflot" vessels were built commercial, fishing and timber ports, ship repairing yards of different departments, fishing bases, bases of defense meaning, foundation pits for docks and approaching canals.
Geography of work of the enterprise's vessels is wide: Sakhalin, Kurily, Kamchatka, Tatar Strait, Nikolaevsk-on-Amur, Slavyanka and Possiet - the most southern bay of our country.
From 1970 to 1985 was being carried out intensive construction of Vostochny port, in which all technical capacities of "Daltechflot" were involved.
During privatization period "Daltechflot" became a state enterprise and development strategy supposed taking self-dependent decisions in new market conditions. That very year characterized by going the enterprise's vessels into foreign markets.
Transport vessels of "Daltechflot" are involved in transportation of export cargoes to ports of Japan, Korea and China. And special vessels "Nakhodka", "Pechora" and "Stepan Demeshev" took part in bottom-deepening projects at Singapore port, and also at ports of Taiwan and Thailand Kingdom.
For period of its existence, "Daltechflot" fulfilled work at volume of more than 140 mln. cubic metres of soil.
Today, total square of territory occupying by the enterprise is about 13 thousand square metres and it is situated in the centre of Nakhodka town next to Nakhodka Trade Sea Port and Ship Repairing Yard No.4. "Daltechflot" has its own pierce line of length about 168 linear metres and has good transport accessibility characterized by presence of railroad branch passing next to it and also automobile roads. Enterprise's territory has developed an infrastructure providing uninterrupted work.
Today "Daltechflot" is only one specialized enterprise in the Far East fulfilling full complex of hydrological work on rivers and seas including development and fulfillment of bottom-deepening, submarime and technical, hydraulic excavation and mine works while constructing sea and other ports. Besides this, the enterprise provides services on transportation of different cargoes, towing of vessels and other floating objects.
During all time of existence of "Daltechflot", its steady clients were such enterprises as Sakhalinmorneftegaz, Far-East Shipping Company, Ministry of Fishing, Dalmorgeologiya, Primorsk Shipping company, seaports situated on Far Eastern territory. In 1994 the enterprise fulfilled work at objects of Ministry of Defense of Russia and Federal Frontier Service. Today the major customers are maritime administrations of ports of Nakhodka and Vostochny, and also "Sakhalinshelfservice".
"Daltechflot" is equipped with unique equipment and fulfils all works at all ports existing in the Far East. Technical basis consists of 36 specialized vessels. Number of employees is 480. They are professionals in their business that is confirmed by high quality of fulfilled work and grateful letters from customers.
